I love the mountains, but there is something about the Virginia Chesapeake marshes, old homesteads and barns that imparts a quiet, peacefulness to the soul. It was a bit nippy the day I took this photo. The temperatures were on the low side for the end of April, the winds were up and blowing the grasses, the overhead clouds breezing on by.
