Description
Early in the morning if one is lucky, Yosemite lower falls is highlighted with a rainbow adding to an already stunning landscape. This particular year the snows were heavy and the water was running high cascading over the many rocks in the river.
Part of North America's tallest waterfall, Lower Yosemite Fall is the final 320-foot (98-meter) drop. Deafening in spring and early summer when the waterfall peaks in volume, you can expect to get sprayed with water when standing on the footbridge near its base. Your walk rewards with spectacular views of both Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls.
Perfect for acrylic and metal. One of my favorite photographs.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
