Description
On our way to see a launch of a SpaceX at Cape Canaveral and NASA, traveling through the Canaveral National Seashore I managed to get a number of shots of a few pelicans in the area. This female Brown Pelican was caught scratching herself or preening her feathers. These birds are so cool! They really do look like relics from the past...don't they?
Photographed in January on one of the many lagoons surrounding Cape Kennedy.
