It was one of those glorious days for a photographer. Every few minutes the landscape view changed. The clouds created a heavenly display with endless colors parading before me. Set among the first snow of the season and Aspens in their golden glory, I couldn't have imagined a better view.

Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better. Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed.
