Artist's Description
It had been a rough couple of hours. We had lived through gale force winds in a tent right on Nag's Head beach in North Caroline, a barrier island, me holding down the tent with the dog inside, and hubby trying to attach more lines to the tent in the shifting sand. Then all day me shooting photos. That night we were up overnight shooting the Milky Way and then the sunrise here at historic Captain Andy's and the Pier House Restaurant under the pier. We grabbed something to eat and then hit the bed for a few hours rest. But isn't this a beauty? How can you beat the soft aqua waves highlighted by the golden rays of the sunrise? Wouldn't this look marvelous on your walls?

About Norma Brandsberg
Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better. Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed.
