Like extended arms, the Sidney Lanier suspension bridge ties Brunswick, Georgia to the Golden Isles south of Savannah, Georgia over the Brunswick River Saint Simon's Sound to St. Simon Island. This cable stayed suspension bridge is the longest bridge in Georgia. The weather over the river seems to change minute by minute creating an ever changing palette of colors to enhansing the lines of the bridge.
The four lane bridge built in 2003 is named for poet Sidney Lanier, has become an iconic landmark in the Golden Isles.
I love cable-stayed bridges, their simple, beautiful lines as they seem to float over the waters beneath. (RB)

Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed. Photography has encouraged me to create so beauty is noticed and appreciated. I am just a...
