Artist's Description
One has to shoot quicky this time of the year. If the sun is out at all it is very quick at noon, just an hour or so when this was shot, so the golden hour is really only about 10 minutes. The sun was above the horizon and below in a flash! The Lofoten coastline is beautiful especially around the Reine area, which is off in the distance. The mountains were covered with their cloak of snow and the crystal clear turquois waters were beyond beautiful lit by the noon-day sun. Wouldn't this prize winning fine art photograph look stunning on your wall?

About Norma Brandsberg
Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better. Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed.
