Since I've first viewed this metal steel bridge, I've wanted to photograph this stunner at night at sunset. The Honsellbrücke or Honsell Bridge (Honnsell, Honsellbridge) is located in downtown Frankfurt, Germany(Frankfurt am Main). It is one of a collection of wonderful bridges spanning the Main River.
Construction stated on this bridge in 1908 with Art Nouveau elements and wonderful curved lines, lit beautifully in the evening. This bridge leads to Sachsenhausen district where my daughter lives,directly across the river from the Alstadt, or old town Frankfurt.
This is probably my favorite bridge in Frankfurt.

Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better. Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed.
