Artist's Description
A favorite of mine on my last photography was a visit to Avian Conservation Center & Center for Birds of Prey close to Charleston, South Carolina. It was an absolute delight to see these Barred Owls, regal birds being cared for their back to health. What a delight to see them flying again after their visits with death and disease.

About Norma Brandsberg
Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better. Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed.
