Description

Two scenic beauties are guaranteed to "get" me every time I visit a national wonder, mountain rivers and clouds. This trip had both. We passed by the Forge Creek Rd and Abrams Creek and the small feeder streams that enter the rivers. On this particular stretch of travel in the Smoky Mountain National Park, the water was crystal clear with wonderful aqua and deep blue coloring. I used a slightly show shutter speed to smooth out the waves careening over the orange rocks to enhanse the river patterns and green and purple and navay colors of the the ripples. Hubby took a walk with the dog while I photographed the scenery off Forge Creek Loop Rd. I found the overhead view of this section very appealing and decided to try and capture the inherant abstract qualities of the patterns the river was showing me.
