Artist's Description
The Odle Group in the Geisler Mountains consists of two large parts: the Odle Peaks east of the Pana wind gap impress with their high and striking cliffs. In Ladin they are called Odles which means needles. The second part, the foothills with Mt Seceda, are flatter. Both are pictured here.
Overlooking the Val di Funes skyline is a small family chapel, not uncommon in these parts.

About Norma Brandsberg
Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better. Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed.
