Description
I came to the Savannah waterfront with the intention of photographing the Christmas scenes, but then got swept away watching kids jump and play in the colorful moving fountains by the new JW Marriott hotel, renovated from some of the old warehouse buildings. Parents were stripping down to allow their kids to get thoroughly wet in the display, with lit angels overhead watching out at their antics. One little girl in particular to throwing her hands in the air encouraging the waters to materialize once again as if she was a master of their fate. There was such joy here and isn't that what Christmas should be?
