How could we have been so lucky to have accidently moved here, to the Central Virginia area? This is a view the Blue Ridge Parkway, part of the Appalachian Mountains, north of The Peaks of Otter between Lynchburg and Roanoke, Virginia. Autumn is my favorite time on the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Jefferson National Forest, for glorious views, but springtime is 2nd, when the baby leaves appear and the sun streams through them causing luminescent, dappled views. The lighting was perfect this day looking toward Lynchburg, light being reflected off the clouds, the trees in glorious colors of Autumn.
