Description
These Fishermen's cabins can be found all over Reine Norway, part of the Lofoten Islands. Cabins located along the fjords openings to protect them from the high, sometimes gale force winds often found in winter. Many of these cabins have been renovated to house photographers and tourists. These two cabins are in their natural state, not yet renovated. Most of the cabins are red, the cheapest form of paint in times past. White is considered a most expensive color and generally used by the more wealthy owners.
