Description

Winter is coming, but not until the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, Peaks of Otter and Sharp Top Mountain give up their Autumn masterful colors. There is a lodge here as well as a restaurant overlooking Claytor Lake. The Blue Ridge Parkway was built using WPA funding during the depression. There are many hiking trails nearby as well as a campground. Peaks of Otter is part of the Jefferson National Forest.
