Discover the Moulin de Moidrey, a stunning Norman windmill. Recognizable thanks to its white wings and its particular location at the top of a sand dune. This windmill is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We were lucky to have a rrived just as the setting sun was highlighting the blades of the windmill.
Opened in 1806, the Moulin de Moidrey was closed and abandoned at the beginning of the 20th century. Almost 100 years later, in 2003, this old mill was finally restored.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.

Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better.
