It was the end of the day, the sheep began to gather, anticipating their owner coming for them to contain them for safe keeping over night.
Off in the distance is Mont Saint-Michel iconic picturesque castle on the Normandy and Britany coastline, surrounded by tidal water farm fields, farms and of course a picturesque herd of sheep.
I sat on the image for awhile trying to decide how I wanted to edit this photo. In the end, the sheep needed to take center stage, with Mont Saint Michel in the background...that and the setting sun highlighting the sheep.
I wonder if they get tiredof people taking photographs? I took a tonars and the black face. of them and just like at home...someone was always moving. I'm glad I took a bunch of photos. It was time of evening when the light changes minute to minute. It's hard to balance shutter speed keeping it as fast as possible and still capture the light limiting noise in the darker places in the photograph.

Like many photographers, I didn't begin the process becoming a professional photographer, as a conscious decision. The decision was a linear progression over many years. I like to travel, so naturally would photograph to document our travels. My before retirement job required I learn the basics of photography and programming using a point and shoot camera. The move to professional photography changed over time. I was encouraged to buy a better camera as my photographs got better. Gradually as my photography got better, I was further encouraged to move to selling and becoming a professional. We are surrounded by beauty, but so much isn't noticed.
