One glorious day in January, we spent exploring around Reine, passing through Sakrisoya, Olnilsoya and Hamnoy, photographing the Forstjorden with wonderful rorbu fishermen's cabins and, fishing racks, colorful fishing boats and nearby mountains, laden with snow. This time of the year the sun does not rise until around noon and sets very quickly after. The Lofotens are said to be some of the most beautiful, charming areas in the world. I'd love to go back, but in the meantime I have to be satisfied looking at the images I managed to capture. (RB)
