Description
Arriving from the south entrance into the Yosemite Valley, one passes the Merced River raging in March when the snows begin their melt and further along the path one has to maneuver through a series of roadside boulders probably there for eons. This is a two way road so being careful is the name of the game as you try to avoid the enviable bottleneck with cars coming from the other direction.
I loved the scenic boulders covered with moss adding to the mystery and ancient look of the rocks as you enter Yosemite National Park.
It was a rainy overcast day in the Winton M. Blount Cultural Park, Montgomery, Alabama. Touring with friends in the area I saw this wonderful sculpture off in the distance as it was pouring rain outside. Not to be dissuaded I jumped out of the car and caught this sculpture of running frocking kids jumping over a puddle against one of the museums.

Congratulations on your image being selected as a 2021 Review for January 2022. This is a special recognition of your fine work for another chance to have your work highlighted in our group, Spirit of the West Photographs only!
