Our first night in the Italian Dolomite Mountains we had this view of Possa di Fassa across from our apartment and behind us an equally stunning view. For several nights I saw both sunrise and sunsets. Located in the Alps in the southern Tyrol region on the drive from Venice, the sunset creates sharp silhouettes against the sky while the wispy clouds soften and constantly change the sharp angles. Located in Trentino Alto Adige region of Italy on the heavenly clouds seemed to want to frame the spiked mountain tops. The next few days saw us traveling between Belluno and Cortina d'Ampezzo Veneto regions.
My original Dolomite silhouette, cloud and fog covered mountain has been edited with a number of filters to give it an ethereal, dream, painting like feel.
