Description

This is my love, beautiful, stunning landscapes. This is what makes my heart sing! I am lucky I live in such beauty. Driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway on a search for Virginia mountain stream, country scenes, I was struck by this pastoral setting, near Floyd, Virginia, not likely to have changed in a very long time. Stopping, I was struck by the overhead storm clouds and knew I had better hurry, but I wasn't fast enough. The clouds opened up and I hustled back to my waiting husband and our travel trailer, drenched like a wet dishrag...hopeful I had done justice to this wonderful scenery.
