Our expectations were high for a great photo trip to Banff, the Icefields Parkway and the surrounding Canadian Rockies. I was upset to find that much of the area was covered by forest fires, so photo shooting locations were quickly changed. What the fires did do was create some stunning clouds overhead as the days progressed. One such favorite location was off the Icefields Parkway, evergreen trees and mountains reflected in the pond beside turquoise, Bow Lake.
