It is hard to describe the stunning colors of the Garden of the Gods early in the morning or later toward dusk. The burnt orange vivid colors I have seen nowhere else, but equally gorgeous are the white mountains contrasted against the orange colors. I had to turn this photo into a black and white to emphasize the white mountain which so often gets overlooked when viewing photography of this amazing area!
It was a rainy overcast day in the Winton M. Blount Cultural Park, Montgomery, Alabama. Touring with friends in the area I saw this wonderful sculpture off in the distance as it was pouring rain outside. Not to be dissuaded I jumped out of the car and caught this sculpture of running frocking kids jumping over a puddle against one of the museums.
